Coburg West Primary School, established in 1917 is located 9 kilometres north of Melbourne in a well-developed residential area. The school boasts modern facilities within a well-maintained and attractive setting to provide a pleasant and supportive environment that promotes student learning.
With a current enrolment of 326 students, Coburg West Primary School is committed to Excellence in Education. Our school community strives to provide a stimulating, tolerant, understanding and sustainable environment, in which all students can reach their full potential. The school's values have become embedded in daily practice and enhance the already fine qualities that our students present daily. Our staff team contributes greatly to the quality of learning and the smooth operation of the school. The school delivers a comprehensive curriculum which caters for each student's unique academic, social, emotional and physical requirements. Teachers plan cooperatively at all year levels and in curriculum teams of Literacy, Numeracy and Student Wellbeing. In 2026, the school has 14 classes structured to compliment the Victorian Curriculum from Grade Prep to 6.
