Selection Criteria

KSC1 Demonstrated ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people, particularly those displaying signs of disengagement, school avoidance, social difficulties, or challenging behaviours.

KSC2 Demonstrated ability to work independently, flexibly, and constructively in a team ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of the work environment as well as working creatively and proactively to enhance work systems, practices and relationships across a school. 

KSC3 Demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills and high level interpersonal skills with an ability to relate effectively and sensitively with teaching and support staff as well as engaging positively with students, parents, external providers and the wider community to improve outcomes for students.

KSC4 Highly developed organisational skills with a demonstrated ability for effective time management, prioritise competing demands, maintain accurate records and respond proactively to emerging student needs within a dynamic school environment. 

KSC5 A commitment to professional learning and growth for both self and others.
