Demonstrated experience in workplace health and safety, compliance, injury management or a related field.
Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, compliance requirements and risk management principles.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate systems, maintain accurate records and manage competing priorities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify trends and support practical improvements.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to organisational improvement through the implementation of effective systems, processes or workplace initiatives.
Qualifications and Professional Attributes
Essential
- Relevant qualification or experience in occupational health and safety, compliance, business administration or a related discipline.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
Desirable
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent).
- Experience using EduSafe Plus, AIMS or similar incident management systems.
- Experience working in a school, government or large organisational environment.
