Role description

About the role

Our Catholic learning community

Marymede Catholic College has an ELC, Primary Campus and Secondary Campus at South Morang and an ELC and a growing Secondary Campus at Doreen (Years 7 to Year 9 in 2026).

The College serves the families from the parishes of St Francis of Assisi (Mill Park and South Morang) and Christ the Light (Donnybrook, Doreen, Kinglake, Mernda, and Whittlesea) under the governance of Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (MACS).

Our purpose

Inspired by our Catholic faith tradition we are called to nourish, nurture, challenge and celebrate our diverse community in an adaptive and aspirational environment.

Our vision

Inspired by Jesus and In the Way of Mary, students experience the fullness of life and aspire to grow, lead and serve.

Our College Directions

  • Encountering Christ
  • Empowering students to flourish
  • Aspirations for all
  • Fostering a positive culture and environment

Our commitment to evidence-based practice

The College is committed to evidence-based practice as we collaboratively lead projects and strategies to realise our College Directions.

Our culture

As a workplace we strive to create an environment where people find purpose, work collegially, belong, are challenged, supported, grow and thrive professionally.

New colleagues

As we continue to expand to an anticipated student enrolment of approximately 2700 students in 2026 we are looking forward to welcoming new colleagues to join us as we grow in size, however, most importantly deepen the realisation of our College Directions for the benefit of our students.
