St Columba's school is calling for innovative educators looking to make a change. We are seeking staff looking for a challenge and to grow. As a school, we have a strong focus on clarity and purpose, balancing high impact learning with efficient team planning and workload management. We are seeking 2 teachers to take on a 6 month Maternity leave position starting in Term 3. 
(A starting date prior to this to support a clear transition would be of benefit but can be negotiated for the right skill set/person)

The positions are for a Foundation and Year One classroom.

Applications are called for from interested teachers who can demonstrate the following capabilities:

  • A commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and supporting the parish community
  • Have knowledge and expertise in a range of subject areas across the Victorian Curriculum
  • Knowledge of Structured literacy and the Sounds Write program would be of benefit
  • Value student voice and agency
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with all members of the school community
