Role description
About the role
Engaging, Inspiring, Empowering
*This school community promotes the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children.*
St Columba's school is calling for innovative educators looking to make a change. We are seeking staff looking for a challenge and to grow. As a school, we have a strong focus on clarity and purpose, balancing high impact learning with efficient team planning and workload management. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced educators passionate about making a difference or looking for something new, and early career teachers seeking support in implementing best practices. Graduates are encouraged to apply.
We are seeking 2 teachers to take on a 6 month Maternity leave position starting in Term 3.
(A starting date prior to this to support a clear transition would be of benefit but can be negotiated for the right skill set/person)
The positions are for a Foundation and Year One classroom.
Applications are called for from interested teachers who can demonstrate the following capabilities:
- A commitment to the ethos of Catholic education and supporting the parish community
- Have knowledge and expertise in a range of subject areas across the Victorian Curriculum
- Knowledge of Structured literacy and the Sounds Write program would be of benefit
- Value student voice and agency
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with all members of the school community
- Have a proven capacity to work both independently and collaborative…
