About Our School

Christ the King School is a vibrant educational institution that nurtures boys and girls from Kindergarten to Year 6. With a current enrolment of approximately 190 children across 7 class groups (K-6), we pride ourselves on our diverse and inclusive community, where around 98% of our students are EAL/D (English as an Additional Language or Dialect) learners.

About You

As part of the Learning Support Team you will assist the classroom teacher in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum. You must be able to demonstrate:

  • an understanding of the needs of the diverse needs of students who require individual and classroom support
  • ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to be organised, supportive and resourceful
  • a willingness to support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students.
  • a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification.
