We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Mindarie Primary School (PS) is a dynamic learning community catering for students from kindergarten to year six. The suburb of Mindarie is a seaside suburb located approximately 35 kilometres north of the Central Business District of Perth in the Shire of Wanneroo. Mindarie PS’s core curriculum has a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and science. Specialist programs operate in the following areas: Science, Physical Education, Music, Performing Arts and Primary Extension and Challenge (PEAC) for academically talented students in Years 4 to 6.

The Role
As a Special Needs Education Assistant, the suitable applicants would under teacher direction, assist in the education programs and in promoting a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Education assistants should ideally assist teachers in the delivery of planned education programs to assist students to reach their full potential through the development of their academic, social, emotional, and physical skills including the operation of computers and digital technologies.
