Sacred Heart Primary School in Mount Druitt South are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Teacher to be a part of our School Community on a permanent full-time basis. This position will attract a 2 Point Coordinator allowance, you will be working as a Leader of Inclusive Practices and Diversity on a full time basis. The Leader of Inclusive Practices and Diversity is responsible for leading, embedding and sustaining high-quality inclusive practices across the school so that every classroom reflects access, dignity, wellbeing and high expectations for all learners. The role carries whole-school responsibility for inclusive teaching and learning, student wellbeing, and equitable access to education.
Key Responsibilities
● Leading inclusive practices across the school to support student inclusion, engagement and excellence.
● Managing and implementing requirements outlined in the 2026 CSPD timelines, including NCCD processes, personalised planning, and professional learning schedules.
● Coordinating personalised planning processes and maintaining high-quality, compliant documentation.
● Building staff capacity to design, implement and evaluate reasonable adjustments that enable all students to access learning and experience success. Leading daily collaborative work with teachers through planning, modelling, co-teaching, observation and feedback.
● Leading professional learning in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), differentiation, disability inclusion, trauma-informed practice and culturally responsive practice. Embedding inclusive practice within whole-school frameworks including MTSS, the Effective Learning and Teaching Model (ELTM), assessment design and reporting.
● Leading the development and implementation of diversity policies and inclusive practice frameworks.
● Coordinating student support structures and mentoring middle leaders in inclusive leadership.
● Monitoring school-wide data and trends to inform strategic adjustments.
● Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including families and external agencies.
● Contributing to strategic and operational leadership across the school.
● Supporting the establishment of a Diversity Team and developing the foundational structures, roles and processes required for it to function as an effective, long-term support system at Sacred Heart.
● Contributing positively to the broader life of the school community.

● High-level teaching expertise and a deep understanding of inclusive pedagogy that ensures equitable access to learning for all students, particularly those who are vulnerable.
● The ability to use data, targeted feedback, and evidence to inform differentiated teaching programs and personalised learning plans.
● Strong collaborative leadership skills, enabling them to work alongside teachers and leaders to plan, implement, evaluate and refine inclusive practices.
● Expertise in coaching and capacity-building through modelling, co-teaching, observation, feedback and professional dialogue.
● A commitment to ongoing professional learning and contribution to a professional learning community.
● Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and external professionals.
● Strategic thinking and organisational skills to manage compliance requirements while maintaining a clear focus on student wellbeing and learning. ●A willingness to fulfil the Work, Teach and Lead requirements set for Middle Leaders.
