The Role

The Vocational Education and Training (VET) Workplace Learning (WPL) Support Officer plays a vital role in supporting the effective planning, implementation, and administration of the College’s VET and WPL programs. Working collaboratively with the VET and WPL Coordinators, the Support Officer contributes to the development and maintenance of program documentation, support materials, and procedural manuals to ensure the smooth operation of both programs. This role also involves tailoring individual student pathways by considering students' skills and abilities with a view to supporting meaningful transitions into employment or further training opportunities.

A key component of the position is assisting in the sourcing of suitable VET placements and industry placements.
