Learning Support Officer

St Peter’s Primary school in Epping is seeking a passionate Learning Support Officer to work in our school.

The position classified under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022 as Education Support Category B. 

The hours of employment for this position will be spread over 5 days 9-1.30pm.

This position will commence as soon as possible.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

The successful applicant will:

demonstrate a passion for working with children.

demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively and support the needs of children with a range of learning difficulties.

demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work with students with learning and/or social-emotional challenges.

possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity to support students with significant learning or behavioural challenges.

Previous experience will be taken into consideration but is not a prerequisite.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Working with Children Check, Police check and is expected to comply with the school’s Code of Conduct and Child Safe Policy.
