About You
As a Religious Eduation Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:
commitment to the Catholic Church and a strong sense of faith
capacity to enliven the values of truth, empathy, excellence, curiosity and collaboration in students with regard to the Mission and Vision of Sydney Catholic Schools
qualifications and experience to teach a range of Stage 4, 5 and 6 Religious Education subjects
ability to demonstrate differentiated pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning
willingness to undertake continued professional development and faith formation
willingness to assist and lead students in extracurricular activities like performance and exhibitions
support of the College’s scholastic initiatives and promote its innovation in light of the Strategic Plan
willingness to undertake leadership mentoring and training from peers and develop and demonstrate strong professional relationships with colleagues
strong classroom management and student well-being focus
ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
