Description
This is a 10 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible extension (12 months) and/or permanency

Golden Bay Primary School (PS) proudly opened as an Independent Public School in 2015, catering for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally exhibit highly developed interpersonal skills and the capacity to work cooperatively with all others to create a welcoming and vibrant environment for students and families. Applicants with sound curriculum knowledge and pedagogy that encompasses 'Critical and Creative Thinking' are highly desirable.
The successful applicant should possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. A focus on early intervention and differentiated curriculum to meet each student at their point of need is a high priority.
The successful applicant will ideally possess proficiency in current and effective teaching practice and be supportive of the school’s ethos, strategic goals, and directions. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, Zones of Regulation, Talk for Writing, and Paul Swan Mathematics would be highly desirable. We are looking for applicants who display data informed practice to differentiate effectively, resulting in high levels of achievement and progress for all students.
