Description
Pinjarra Senior High School (SHS) has an effective and efficient team of allied professional staff and is seeking to establish a pool of School Officer’s for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Pinjarra SHS is located near the Pinjarra town centre and caters for students in Years 7 through 12, providing innovative programs and pathways to prepare students for success in tertiary education, vocational training, traineeships, apprenticeships and the workplace. As a school, we are committed to innovating teaching practice to develop 'learnership', agency and to enhance student engagement in purposeful education.

The Role
We are looking for proactive, supportive and versatile School Officers who display exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Ideal applicants should be self-motivated, capable of working independently, showing initiative, as well as being able to work collaboratively with our team.
The School Officer role undertakes a variety of administrative support duties including reception, faults, and assists with student related activities such as enrolments, excursions, billing and student attendance records and workplace learning.
Suitable applicants should have attention to detail, accurate data entry, an ability to understand and implement procedures, a confident phone manner and a friendly and positive attitude to building positive relationships with our staff, students, families and community. Experience within a school setting and with systems such as Microsoft Office, Resource Management (RM) Billing, School Information System (SIS), Compass would be advantageous.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.

- Demonstrated experience in providing effective administrative support with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in financial processes and procedures, including the handling of debtors, creditors, reconciliations, and /or preparing financial returns.
- Demonstrated ability in using computers and a range of application software packages, particularly databases, spreadsheets and word processing.
- Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills and experience in the application of customer service principles and practices.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment.
