The Role
As the Manager Corporate Services, your central responsibility is to provide comprehensive oversight of the school's critical components, specifically financial, physical, and human resources. In this role, you should play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the school's operations. This involves supervising school support staff, guiding them in the meticulous administration of tasks related to financial management, asset maintenance, and human resource coordination.
Your adept management ensures that the school's financial operations adhere to established standards and contribute to the overall success of the institution. The role of the Manager Corporate Services requires managing human resources to streamline the operational needs of the school, working collaboratively with the school leadership team to ensure the needs of the school are met. The successful applicant will ideally possess strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage the non-teaching team.
The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in managing the day-to-day financial operations specific to a Department of Education school and be able to maximise the staffing structure to best support the school's needs, school improvement plan and vision. Other responsibilities may include developing and implementing effective strategies, policies, and procedures to optimise corporate services functions, ensure smooth operations and providing guidance to the leadership team, fostering a positive work culture and promoting professional development.
