Join Greenslopes State School as a Teacher Aide and contribute to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
We have two part-time positions available: one 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and another, 12 hours per week (Monday
and Tuesday or Monday and Friday).
These roles focus on supporting students, including those with special needs, and assisting teachers in delivering quality educational outcomes.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time
capacity (0.079FTE or 0.32FTE), 60 or 24 hours per fortnight.

About the Role
As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students to achieve positive learning outcomes. This includes assisting with classroom activities, supporting students with special needs, and contributing to the overall welfare and safety of the school community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with the preparation and organisation of learning materials and activities.
- Providing support to students, including those with special needs, during classroom and extracurricular activities.
- Maintaining and managing school resources and equipment.
- Contributing to the welfare, health, and safety of students, including administering first aid if required (training provided).
- Supporting literacy and numeracy programs by working with small groups or individual students.
This role would suit someone who is empathetic, organised, and passionate about supporting students to achieve their full potential.
