You will contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support and will ensure that the duties outlined for the position are completed to a
high standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.72FTE), 55 hours per fortnight.

About the School:
Amiens State School is a small country school located 15km from Stanthorpe on Amiens Road in the Granite Belt. Established in 1919, Amiens State School has a long and proud history at the heart of the Amiens Community.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- General cleaning duties - e.g. cleaning toilets, wiping down of surfaces, vacuuming, mopping. Using floor scrubber
- Correct use of approved departmental cleaning equipment and chemicals.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning experience is preferable but not essential.
- We are looking for a reliable, honest and committed individual with attention to detail, and can work autonomously or as part of a team if required.
- Must have a current Blue Card or be willing to get one.

- Works well as a single cleaner
- Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and the school community - is polite and considerate of other team members, other staff members and students as per the code of conduct.
- Ability to complete tasks in a thorough and timely manner

- Must be physically fit and able to meet the demands of the job. Please note that work will include bending, lifting and cleaning across the campus
