About the Role

The Administration Officer will play a key role in supporting the school's operations by undertaking a variety of administrative duties, including human resources, student enrolments, finance, facilities, and general office tasks. This role requires a proactive and organised individual who can maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with HR processes such as staff leave, onboarding, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Supporting the student enrolment process, including liaising with parents, scheduling interviews, and managing data entry.
  • Providing administrative and clerical support to the school leadership team and staff.
  • Managing correspondence, records, and data entry, while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with financial and facilities management, including budget reviews, payment plans, and maintenance activities.

About You

Strong customer service and communication skills are highly valued as we deliver high-level support to colleagues, students, parents and external visitors. Proficiency in administrative systems and processes, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance, is essential. The ability to work collaboratively within our close-knit team of four Administration Officers is key to our success, as we support one another in a welcoming, fast-paced environment where balancing competing priorities and managing frequent interruptions is part of our daily routine. Well-developed organisational and time-management skills are critical to effectively managing multiple tasks. Experience with OneSchool and TRACER systems is desirable, though not essential.

Selection Criteria

The following are highly desireable traits:

  • Demonstrated experience in a busy administration role, preferably in a school or similar environment.
  • Experience assisting with HR and finance processes.
  • Strong organisational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Competency using computer-based administrative systems.
