Who We Are:

The new Prep - 6 school located on Wuraga Road, Holmview will support increasing enrolment growth in the Logan corridor and be part of a strong network of schools dedicated to providing excellence.

The new school will increase capacity in the local school network and provide enrolment relief to surrounding schools. The total student enrolment capacity is 1100 students and will open in 2027 with a capacity for 708 students.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

As foundation Principal, you will establish the vision, culture, systems and staffing profile of the school, setting clear expectations for excellence in teaching and learning from the outset. You will create the conditions for high performance, collaboration and continuous improvement. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Working closely with project managers, architects and facilities teams during the build.
  • Providing educational input into learning space design.
  • Ensuring facilities support contemporary pedagogy and student engagement.
  • Monitoring timelines toward practical completion and readiness to open, implementing contingency strategies if required.

In addition, the foundation principal will work with Corporate Partners in:

  • Governance and Compliance
  • Workforce Planning & Recruitment
  • Budget & Resource Establishment
  • Curriculum & Educational Design
  • Community & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Enrolment & Operational Readiness
  • Leadership of programs and ways of working that support Culture, Wellbeing and Belonging

  • Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision for success
  • Proven leadership of teaching and learning that improves outcomes for all students
  • Capability to establish culture, systems and workforce foundations in a new school environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form productive partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ethical leadership, inclusive practices and the wellbeing of students and staff, embedding socially just practices in daily life.
  • Strategic thinking and sound judgement to lead improvement and manage resources effectively in a new school context
