School Psychologist

• Ongoing position – Part Time (3 Days Per Week – FTE 53.14)
• School terms only
• Close knit, supportive team
We are a vibrant College committed to providing the best educational and pastoral care for our students and we are seeking a School Psychologist to join our dedicated team. The successful applicant will contribute to the assessment of children for learning needs, provide counselling, and provide advice to staff on youth mental health issues.
Key elements of the role will include, but are not limited to:
• Undertake educational and psychological assessments for students.
• Assessment of mental health issues.
• Provide counselling for students for a range of mental health, emotional and family issues including crisis counselling.
• Providing advice to teaching staff on mental health and pastoral issues within the classroom setting.
• Liaise with specialist community organisations and agencies as needed.
• Maintain student information to meet regulatory requirements.

• Registered by the Psychology Board of Australia under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law, OR
• Have provisional registration based upon possession of a degree with a fourth or fifth year qualification in psychology and a supervision agreement accepted by the Psychol…
