Mid Year Reception Teacher

We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Teacher to join the team at Star of the Sea. Here’s your chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future. As a Mid-Year Teacher at Star of the Sea you will:

• Actively support and promote the Catholic identity and ethos of the school.
• Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and utilise contemporary evidence based pedagogies to promote engagement and success for learners.
• Plan and deliver differentiated instruction that meets the diverse needs of learners.
• Demonstrate capability in using data to support planning for the needs of individual students.
• Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and parents.
• Demonstrate a sound understanding of social and emotional learning to promote student connectedness, engagement and regulation.
• Be a positive and dynamic educator who is committed to ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications and Training:

• SA Teachers Registration
• Working with Children Check
• Approved Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care (RRHAN-EC)
• First Aid Certificate
• Be willing to undertake Teacher Accreditation in Catholic Education SA training, along with any other compulsory training necessary for the role
