Rostrevor College is excited to welcome a class of mid-year Reception students in 2026!

In light of this additional class, we invite applications from Early Years and Junior Primary educators for this temporary contract engaged at full-time (1.00 FTE) for Terms 3 and 4.

The successful incumbent will lead the Little Rossi Learners: Ready for Rostrevor! extended transition program which is offered to children during the term prior to their commencement.

Little Rossi Learners: Ready for Rostrevor! 

• 8.30am - 10.30am
• Weekly on Thursdays
• Weeks 3 - 8, Term 2
• 14 May - 18 June 2026

Rostrevor is seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and committed educator who engages in structured literacy practices and evidence based teaching.

The successful incumbent will:

• Possess good knowledge of evidence based pedagogical practices including Structured Literacy and Explicit Direct Instruction
• Create a positive learning environment that supports student wellbeing and personal responsibility
• Lead and implement the Little Rossi Learners: Ready for Rostrevor! extended transition program
• Plan, teach and assess authentic and differentiated learning experiences using the Early Years Learning Framework, Australian Curriculum and Crossways
• Work collaboratively with other Primary teachers, staff, and students
