Education Assistant - Special Needs

We are seeking to establish a pool of Special Needs Education Assistants for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

The school values strong relationships as the foundation for student success. Suitable applicants will ideally build positive relationships with students, families and staff, and work collaboratively with teachers to support planned learning programs for individual students and small groups. The role focuses on improving curriculum access, engagement, progress and achievement for all students.

Possible positions include working within a Pre-Primary setting as the main Education Assistant, supporting all students while also providing targeted support for students with additional needs, as well as roles across a range of primary classrooms supporting teachers and students alike.
