This is a 12 month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 2, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency

Binnu Primary School (PS) is a Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) setting that services the local farming families and the Barrel Well Aboriginal Community. This is a unique opportunity to teach in a multi-age setting, where creativity, collaboration, and community are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you will ideally show the professional knowledge, practices and experience to deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to a K-6 multi-age classroom. As part of this role, you will be able to engage and build productive working relationships with students, staff and the wider school community. You will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with staff in a supportive work environment that strives for continual personal growth. The CHUNABI network also offers the ability to work collaboratively with staff across the three schools, sharing resources and knowledge which creates a greater sense of connection in our regional schools.

The successful applicant should possess sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum; be able to deliver content in an engaging manner; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a highly effective team member.

Experience with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and High Impact Teaching strategies aligned with the Department of Education’s Quality Teaching Strategy is highly regarded.

  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
