Principal Education Officer

This is a five (5) month fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP with possible extension

Statewide Services provides the support and services required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on students and schools that need it most. While it primarily exists to deliver services to schools, Statewide Services also has an important system-facing role supporting strategy and policy development.

Service Delivery is the key interface with schools. Its purpose is to plan, coordinate and deliver targeted services that support schools and regions to improve student achievement.

The Secondary Schools, District High Schools and Post-School Pathways directorate provides coordinated services and expertise, with a focus on schools requiring support to improve the achievement of their secondary-aged students.

The directorate develops resources and provides support for VET, workplace learning and career development, contributing to relevant strategic initiatives in these areas. It provides advice and subject matter expertise to schools, regions and the system, and manages programs and initiatives that provide specialist and targeted services to schools.
