Description
Strategy and Planning are seeking to establish a pool of Administration Officers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of April, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
The Infrastructure Division is responsible for the planning and provision of facilities (land, buildings and equipment) across the Department. This includes land planning, student enrolment forecasting, facilities planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, maintenance and minor works programs, and the delivery of facilities-related services.
The Strategy and Planning Directorate leads longer-term strategic planning for land and building infrastructure. It prepares capital funding proposals, delivers statistical and demographic planning, develops asset management and sustainability strategy and policy, and manages land acquisition and the Department’s land estate.
The Role
This role provides high-quality clerical and administrative support to the Directorate to ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently and effectively. This includes arranging meetings, preparing and distributing meeting agendas and minutes and undertaking follow-up actions when required.
Within this role you will respond to telephone calls, visitor enquiries, diary appointments, e-mail and other communications. You will be expected to maintain an effective correspondence filing system for corporate information and records relating to projects, initiatives, committees and other activities.
