Program Kaartdijin is seeking to establish a pool of Training Officers for fixed term, full-time vacancies which may arise during 2026 and up to the end of June 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

Program Kaartdijin has been established to develop a functionally fit, technologically robust solution to replace the current School Information System (SISClassic) and include additional information capture and reportability. The Program focuses on providing short term solutions as well as a longer-term solution that meets the operational needs of schools and the reporting and management needs of the Department at large. The Program vision is to provide a contemporary administrative and finance solution connecting people, processes and systems for school communities now and into the future.

The new Kaartdijin Solution will replace the SISClassic suite of applications currently being used in 800+ schools throughout Western Australia. The Department has contracted TechnologyOne as the provider of the core finance functionalities and Compass Education as the provider of the billing, student administration and school administration functionalities for schools.
