Gardener - Handyperson

This is a permanent part-time (0.6 FTE) position commencing ASAP.

Located on the Albany Highway between Perth and Albany, Kojonup District High School (DHS) has over 230 students with added bonus of a 480-acre school farm close by. All year levels love to visit the farm, and it forms an integral part of our students' learning journey whilst at the school. Sustainability and pathway planning programs are influenced by our farm environment, as are waste-wise practices, animal husbandry and paddock to plate understandings.

The Role

As a Gardener – Handyperson working with the Kojonup DHS team, the successful applicant would provide gardening, grounds, and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. The successful applicant should maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean, and tidy condition, and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management.
