Bremer Bay Primary School (PS) is located in the Southwest of Western Australia and is 180 kilometres east of Albany. Established in 1953, we cater for students from Kindergarten through to Year 6.
The school provides an educational program that caters for a broad spectrum of abilities, needs and interests of students and has strong links with parents and the local community. Bremer Bay PS is a small school with around 30 students catered for in multi-age groupings.

The Role
The Gardener - Handyperson is responsible for maintaining the school grounds in a safe and tidy condition, ensuring a conducive external learning environment for students and staff. This includes overseeing the upkeep of turf areas, garden beds, shrubs, trees, and various soft landscapes. Additionally, the role involves maintaining hard landscaping features like courts and paving, marking sports areas, and conducting minor repairs in alignment with departmental policies. The Gardener - Handyperson is also tasked with keeping gardening facilities, equipment, tools, and machinery in a clean and serviceable condition, reporting faults promptly, and adhering to safe work practices.
Collaborating with the Manager of Corporate Services, the role contributes to the development of safe work procedures and conducts risk assessments as needed.
