Calista Primary School (PS) is a highly effective, friendly and welcoming Level 5 school located in the centre of the City of Kwinana. We are located close to several modern facilities and co-located with the Calista Child and Parent Centre (CPC). We have a range of staff, from those who have been here many years, to those commencing their careers. This mix of experience and enthusiasm provides for excellent learning opportunities for our students. Staff are collaborative, motivated and skilled educators who are committed to explicit teaching in the areas of English and Mathematics and are keen to see students improve and learn. Our students are enthusiastic and exhibit positive behaviour. The school is welcoming and has strong support from our parents and the local community. The school commenced in 1964 and was granted IPS status in 2011.

Calista PS has achieved outstanding outcomes and was both a Centre of Excellence School and a Teacher Development School Literacy and Numeracy. We are on a journey to develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in the Primary years and have the support and resources to achieve this.
