Description
We are seeking to establish a pool of Biological Science Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Note: This position is being advertised as part of a recruitment pilot designed to simplify the application process for teachers. A mandatory CV template is provided for use. The Role
It is anticipated that permanent appointments will be made from this pool.
We are seeking high calibre and enthusiastic Science educators with the knowledge, skills and drive to contribute meaningfully to the school’s ongoing commitment to student outcomes. With the launch of our new Business Plan 2026-2028, this is an exciting time to join our highly successful team.
Successful applicants will ideally be able to display curriculum expertise with the capacity and confidence to teach across Year 7-10 curriculum and Year 11-12 Science courses. Applicants who have knowledge and experience in Biological Sciences will be highly regarded. Quality teachers who have a solid general Science knowledge and understanding are also encouraged to apply.
Ideally, applicants will possess strong pedagogical knowledge, the ability to differentiate effectively for student need, be able to analyse and respond to data, and possess a commitment to engage in evidence based instructional practices.
