The Deputy Principal will work with the leadership team and assume responsibility for the following areas as negotiated and/or delegated by the Principal.
* Assist the Principal in leading curriculum improvement focussed on high performance and quality learning, the implementation of 21st century pedagogies, the Australian Curriculum, EYLF, NQS and improved literacy and numeracy outcomes.
* As a member of a collaborative leadership team, contribute to the development of the Site Improvement Plan, Preschool Quality Improvement Plan and whole P-6 school improvement.
* Have a shared responsibility for performance management and professional learning P-6.
* Provide support for teachers and families in managing students with additional needs including identified students with a disability, students with learning difficulties and students with challenging behaviours P-6
* Assist in the smooth management and daily operations of the school and preschool as safe and inclusive work environments.
