Your Role

As a Responsible Behaviour Officer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising and monitoring student behaviour before and after school, and during breaks, including uniform compliance and truancy.
  • Facilitating detentions and providing feedback on student behaviour and progress.
  • Collecting student statements and documentation to support disciplinary processes in line with the school's Responsible Behaviour Plan and Student Code of Conduct.
  • Supporting behaviour intervention programs under the guidance of the Head of Department and classroom teachers.
  • Monitoring program effectiveness through observation, data collection, and evaluation.
  • Referring students to relevant staff or support services as required.
  • Ensuring quality and consistency in all duties, adhering to departmental guidelines and continuously seeking process improvements.
  • Performing additional duties such as bus supervision, patrolling school grounds and nearby areas, and escorting students to class as needed.
  • Generating and sorting reports from school systems such as Daymap and OneSchool for follow-up.
