We are seeking a proactive and community-focused Early Years Support Coordinator to strengthen family engagement and support early learning pathways through the Playgroup (Little Cassowaries) and school-based Stay & Play
program.
In this part-time role (Wednesday and Thursday), you will lead community outreach, tailor programs to local needs, and foster strong partnerships with families, early childhood services, and community agencies to
enhance pathways to Kindy and wellbeing support.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.20FTE), 15 hours per fortnight

About the Role
As the Early Years Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in enhancing early learning opportunities and family engagement through programs like the Playgroup (Little Cassowaries) and the Stay & Play initiative. This part-time role (Wednesday and Thursday) focuses on community outreach, program development, and building strong partnerships to support children's early development and learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing programs to support early learning and childhood development.
- Providing support to families to maximise engagement with early childhood services, including kindergarten.
- Building and fostering relationships between the school, families, and local community services.
- Conducting home visits to provide strategies for positive early childhood experiences.
- Coordinating visits from local services to enrich program delivery and enhance family support.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education, community engagement, and fostering strong family partnerships to support children's learning and development.
About You

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with families and community stakeholders.
