Birkdale South State School is seeking an efficient and enthusiastic Administrative Officer to support our vibrant school community.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive educational
environment, with the successful applicant required to obtain their Senior First Aid Certificate.
This position is being offered in a Temporary Part-Time capacity (0.44FTE), 32 hours per fortnight.

About the Role
As the Administrative Officer (AAEP), you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school by providing essential administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing reception duties, including telephone and counter enquiries, and coordinating appointments and correspondence.
- Maintaining school records, processing mail and email, and organising student transport for school activities.
- Providing support for human resources tasks, such as managing timesheets, leave applications, and staff rosters.
- Assisting with financial processes, including payments, invoicing, banking, and data entry into OneSchool.
- Coordinating school maintenance, safety inspections, and community use of school facilities.
