About the Role
As our Youth Support Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting students to remain engaged in their education and achieve their full potential. You will work closely with students, families, school staff, and external agencies to address barriers to learning and provide targeted support for those at risk of disengagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identifying and addressing barriers to student engagement and learning.
- Providing individual support, case management, and group support where appropriate.
- Referring students to relevant external services and support agencies.
- Maintaining accurate daily records of student interactions and follow-up actions.
- Fostering strong relationships between the school, students, and their families to support educational success.
This role would suit a compassionate and motivated individual who is committed to supporting young people in achieving their educational and personal goals.
About You

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a student-centred approach.
- Experience in youth support, case management, or community engagement.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with students, families, and external services.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Training in wellbeing programs is advantageous.
