Your Opportunity:

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • A proven ability to lead curriculum design, delivery, and review across the Humanities learning area, ensuring high‑quality learning outcomes for all students in Years 7-12.

High-Level Interpersonal Skills:

  • The ability to build and maintain productive, respectful, and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students, home tutors, families, and external partners.

Departmental Culture and Values Leadership:

  • A demonstrated capacity to shape and strengthen the culture of our Humanities Department, aligning team practices and behaviours with whole‑school values and strategic priorities.

Higly desirable skills and experience:

  • Technology - QLearn, Microsoft Team, OneNote and OneDrive
  • Strong understanding of digital pedagogy, including effective engagement strategies for students learning in online or blended environments.
  • Demonstrated understanding of inclusive, high-impact teaching practices.
  • Innovative and adaptable, ready to embrace the opportunities of digital learning.
  • Collaborative, thriving in a team culture built on trust, support, and shared responsibility.
  • Values-driven, contributing positively to a professional culture that prioritises student outcomes, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement.
