About the Role
As a Teacher Aide at Miles State School, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students to achieve their best. You will assist in the preparation and delivery of learning materials, provide support for students with special needs, and contribute to the overall wellbeing of the school community.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting teachers with classroom activities, including reading groups, maths groups, and art projects.
- Supporting students with special needs, including assistance with mobility, meals, and personal care.
- Supervising students during playground activities, sporting events, and excursions.
- Maintaining records on student development and assisting with behaviour management programs.
- Providing clerical support, such as preparing teaching materials and managing resources.
This role would suit someone passionate about education and committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
