Pacific Pines State School is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join our team on a part-time basis.

This role is for two days per week (Monday and Tuesday), 7 hours and 15 minutes per day, plus ADO.

About the Role

As the Administrative Officer AO3, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the school by providing essential administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.

Duties include:

  • Managing the student window, supporting student enquiries and late arrivals
  • Processing student absences and maintaining accurate attendance records
  • Administering and documenting student medication in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Providing administrative support to the Principal and Deputy Principals
  • Managing the student counter, assisting parents, students and visitors
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Preparing and processing HR paperwork, including onboarding documents
  • Assisting with the preparation of BEMIRs/WAAPs and other support documentation
  • Supporting data entry, record keeping, and general administrative tasks
  • Contributing to other office duties as required to support smooth school operations

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and adaptable team member with:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Experience in administration and customer service
  • The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast paced office setting
  • Knowledge of One School and Agresso systems (desirable but not essential)
  • A positive attitude and commitment to supporting student wellbeing
  • A willingness to uphold the values and expectations of Pacific Pines State School
  • Must hold a valid bluecard
