About the Role

This is a highly collaborative role, working alongside the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, State Schools, internal regional stakeholders and Community partners, promoting a sense of Belonging and Engagement for our youngest learners and their families and carers.

Your Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and manage early childhood specific initiatives to support sustained and consistent implementation, prioritising the participation and engagement of all children in development and learning pathways; and in quality transitions, that lead to successful educational outcomes and wellbeing.
  • Develop and implement projects, including risk management strategies and key performance measures to ensure outcomes are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare and quality assure correspondence associated with priority projects and initiatives.
  • Develop effective partnerships and support communities to implement place-based approaches to improve outcomes for children and families.

In addition to the key responsibilities of this role, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline (QKLG) and The Australian Curriculum - fostering a shared professional language across learning environments.

Advantageous Skills & Experience

Desirable but not mandatory qualifications we are looking for this role are:

  • A teaching qualification in the early years would be desirable.
