About the Role
St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, Manildra has an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Officer to join the team on a temporary basis in 2026. The role will be a part time position of 20 hours per fortnight.

The Learning Support Officer will support the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality instruction to students in a Catholic School setting. The role will involve:

• Providing in-class support for teachers and their students with learning needs

• Supporting and supervising students with additional learning needs in and out of the classroom environment

• Facilitating the remedial reading program (MacqLit)

• Assisting with data collection and maintenance for legislative compliance (NCCD)

• Administrative tasks in support of NCCD and disability provisions

• Input into the planning and implementation of Personal Learning Plans

• Collaborating with classroom teachers to ensure the inclusion of all students in all learning experiences
