St Patrick’s College, Strathfield is a Catholic school for boys in the Edmund Rice tradition offering a quality education to over 1,600 boys from Years 5 to 12. The Co-Curricular Program supports and complements the spiritual and academic life of our students.  The College is also a member of the Independent Sporting Association (ISA) and Independent Primary Schools Heads of Australia (IPSHA).

We are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Football and Rugby Coaches for the coming winter season commencing on Wednesday 11 March 2026.

Essential to these roles:

  • Experience in Sports Coaching along with relevant accreditation is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice
  • A valid Driver’s Licence and have access to a vehicle
  • Current First Aid certificate is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to lead and manage adolescents
  • Willing to work mornings and/or afternoons and Saturdays
  • Possess (or be eligible to obtain) and maintain a current Working With Children Check for paid employment

Successful applicants will have a proven track record of reliability, punctuality and experience in their chosen sport. A desire and passion to work with young people to better their holistic experience along with an appreciation of the College ethos are essential.
