About the role
St John the Apostle Catholic Primary School is located in Tarneit and opened in 2015. The school belongs to the Parish of St Andrew’s Werribee and falls under the governance of Melbourne Archdiocese of Catholic Schools (MACS) who is the ultimate employer of staff within our organisation.
Our school prides itself on placing great importance on a fair balance between the needs of our students and reasonable teacher workloads.

We are currently seeking a teacher who is able to commence day one of Term 3, 2026. The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate:

- The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to be flexible
- The capacity to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- The ability to differentiate their teaching and make adjustments according to student needs
- An understanding of the curriculum and the skills of an effective teacher
- Strong classroom management and a talent for promoting positive student behaviour.
