We’re seeking a Digital Content and Video Officer to lead the planning, creation and production of high-quality digital content—including video, photography, and multimedia—for our social media channels, website, school events, and internal platforms.

This role is ideal for a creative storyteller who thrives on variety and wants to use their skills to make a meaningful contribution in an educational setting.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Communications, you will:

  • Produce engaging video and digital content that captures school life, supports key events, and promotes Tara’s values.
  • Plan and deliver media for assemblies, graduations, performances, and academic content.
  • Manage end-to-end production: filming, editing, post-production, and distribution.
  • Contribute to a content calendar aligned with the School’s marketing and communication strategy.
  • Collaborate with students and staff to bring creative ideas to life across a range of platforms.
  • Maintain media equipment and manage digital assets in line with school policies.

About You

You are a confident and capable content creator with:

  • Proven experience in video production, photography, and digital media creation.
  • Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across a school community.
  • A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset.
  • A Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Experience in an education environment or working with young people (desirable).

Why Tara?

At Tara, we foster a supportive and inclusive environment where each staff member is valued. You’ll be joining a passionate team that celebrates creativity, innovation, and excellence. This is a unique opportunity to combine your digital media skills with purpose-driven work in a school that supports girls to thrive academically, socially, and spiritually.

  • Stunning campus in North Parramatta with onsite parking

  • A dynamic, collaborative team
  • Opportunity to shape how our story is told
