Prep Teacher’s Aide

Following strong growth, Shellharbour Anglican College is seeking qualified and dynamic Christian Teacher’s aides to join its experienced team. The position will provide educational, social and emotional support to students in Prep. This position is 15.2 hours per week on a Monday and Tuesday and is Term time only.
Prep marks the beginning of the learning journey at the College and is a program that is in high demand in our local community. The program aims to best prepare students with the skills and knowledge needed for them to start Kindergarten. It includes a learning program of exploration, inquiry, play and directed teaching. Prep features an outstanding learning space, university trained teachers and a unique outdoor bush setting with vegetable gardens, mazes and climbing trees.

An energetic and authentic Teacher’s Aide, committed to fostering a deep love of learning in students, you will have a personal Christian Faith demonstrating a commitment to Christian teaching practice. You will have the ability to support an authentic Christian worldview into your classroom and support appropriate academic and behavioural expectations.
