Bindjiroo Yaluk Community School is a small, progressive and inclusive all-gender government secondary school, located across three campuses in the suburbs

of Richmond and Coburg in Melbourne, Australia. The Woi-wurrung name "Bindjiroo Yaluk" means "two rivers", which acknowledges Country through

reference to the school's campus locations nearby the Yarra River in Richmond, and Merri Creek in Coburg.

At our Richmond secondary campus, we offer full-time programs of Victorian Curriculum, VCE, VCE-VM, VPC and VET (Music) for students in Years 7-12.

At our Coburg vocational campus, we offer full-time programs of Victorian Curriculum, VCE-VM, VPC and VET (Automotive, Building, Cookery, and Furniture Making) for students in Years 10-12.
At our Richmond House FLO campus, we offer programs of modified (reduced hours) timetables in our Flexible Learning Intervention Program (FLIP) to support re-engagement into other full-time programs at the school.

BYCS runs a Student Food/Healthy Eating program for students at school each day, across both campuses. Staff can choose to participate in the program, which entails eating with students in common areas during break times and paying a nominal contribution towards the cost of providing food.
