About the Opportunity
St Agnes Catholic High School, Rooty Hill, is seeking applications for a temporary Library Assistant position to join our library team. This role will be 60 hours per fortnight, with the successful applicant working on Monday - Friday, 8am until 2:30pm each week in 2026.

The successful candidate will
Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging library environment that supports student learning and wellbeing.
Provide high-quality customer service and support to students and staff in accessing library services and resources.
Assist users in locating, borrowing, and utilising information and learning resources effectively.
Supervise students during recess, lunch, study periods, and Homework Club sessions as required.
Work collaboratively with the Teacher Librarian to support student learning and literacy initiatives.
Maintain and manage library collections, records, cataloguing, and classification systems.
- Support the effective administration of library resources and student information systems.
Utilise a range of digital technologies, library management platforms, and information systems.
What You'll Bring
Relevant Library qualifications (Certificate IV or Diploma in Library and Information Services) would be preferred, though not essential
