Role description
St Joseph’s College, Lochinvar is seeking a temporary full-time Secondary TAS/Engineering Studies Teacher to join the team from 6 October until 17 December 2026.
Founded by the Sisters of St Joseph in 1883, St Joseph’s College is a co-educational secondary school educating approximately 940 students in Years 7–12.
Located in the heart of the Hunter Valley, the College offers a rich learning environment supported by modern facilities and a strong sense of community.
The successful applicant will be qualified to teach TAS and Engineering Studies, with the ability to teach subjects including Timber and Digital Technologies, Metal Technology and VET Construction.
The teacher will deliver high-quality, evidence-based teaching practices that support student learning, wellbeing and engagement, while working within the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and supporting the Catholic mission of the College.
