Position Overview

Sapphire Coast Anglican College is a PK-12, independent, Anglican College and is a Christ-centred, student-focused, community-minded school that develops extraordinary learners with a passion to serve others. Established in 1994, the College is located on the Far South Coast of NSW in the heart of the Bega Valley with an enrolment of approximately 470 students.

As a Primary and Secondary PDHPE/Sport teacher at Sapphire Coast Anglican College, you will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching and learning experiences that are engaging and meaningful.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the relevant curriculum in a dynamic way, using initiative in bringing fresh and creative ideas to the classroom, gym and sports field
  • Teaching from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 9, as required by the College
  • Provide a safe and supportive learning environment with a focus on explicit instruction, developing deep understanding 
  • A strong awareness of the NSW curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Ability to differentiate curriculum and practice for PK-Year 9
