Role description

Wollemi College is an independent boys’ school teaching the Catholic faith, situated on 10 hectares in Werrington, in Sydney’s west. Wollemi College is seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and experienced Primary Teacher to commence as soon as possible in a permanent full time role.  The successful applicant will need to be supportive of our school’s Catholic ethos, whilst offering the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality teaching to primary students.
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate technology into teaching and learning.
  • Capacity to differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a diverse range of students.
  • Ability to positively manage students’ classroom behaviour.
  • Commitment to ongoing evaluation and improvement.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Be committed to character development in students.
  • Demonstrate a readiness to give every support to parents.
  • Be prepared to contribute on a pro rata basis to extra-curricular activities.
