Role description
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head of Diverse Learning to lead and strengthen inclusive educational practices across the College. This key leadership position is responsible for supporting students with diverse educational needs, guiding a dedicated team of professionals, and working collaboratively with staff, students and families to ensure every learner is empowered to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be a strategic and compassionate educator with a strong commitment to student wellbeing, evidence-informed practice, and fostering a culture of inclusion and excellence. This is a Permanent Full-Time position commencing in January 2027.
As part of St Patrick’s College’s commitment to the education of every child, we have established a highly regarded Diverse Learning Team that provides a range of targeted interventions and supports for students across Years 5–12. The Head of Diverse Learning will lead the Learning Enrichment and Learning Support teams, oversee the implementation of inclusive practices, and work closely with teaching staff to build their capacity to effectively support diverse learners within the classroom.
The successful applicant will maintain a teaching allocation and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
